As always, great analysis and insights. Perhaps what's best about it is that it shows that it is now possible to have such conversations more or less publicly, whereas before it wasn't.

I presently feel that a “better place” for Starmer would be on the back benches. He is tone deaf, who advised him to be openly hostile to Trump during the US elections, that’s worked out really well has it not? There’s a lot of posturing and a clear deficit in strategic thinking.
