This means that knowing that his country's membership in NATO was one of the biggest security red lines for Russia and also being fully aware that there were no realistic prospects, which would allow him to cross this line, he nonetheless abandoned the negotiations of early 2022 and wilfully continued the war, which he had no chance of winning.
This man should be tried not only for war crimes against the people of Donbass but also for treason.
