Like everything cultural that we watched as kids, cartoons, coronation Street, the news even, these forms of entertainment have morphed into giant industries that blatantly promote absurdist agendas more and more. Eurovision is but one example, now a 3 night marathon that I suspect very few watch, especially the younger generation, a contest so tightly controlled by our masters that here in Ireland the song which goes on to represent the country is voted on by government appointees. This happened after the Irish voted for a puppet turkey a few years back which pretty much tells you how the public here feel about this once great bit of television entertainment.

Everything runs its course and unfortunately the Eurovision is destined for the bin, as will be the fate of most of what appears on TV channels these days.

This contest is a target-rich environment for ridicule. The exhibition has become the EU's proxy for democracy while it has eliminated real democracy in election after election. Tolerance has taken on the role of liberal enlightenment while real democracy has become fascism. Fragile elites congratulate themselves on their deeply flawed self-righteousness. Their populations suffer under the yoke of leaders who fancy themselves the heirs of a grand royal tradition of noblesse oblige as unicorns and fairies prance and pose across their grand stage.
