The Ukrainian government is already saying that the so called compensation payments will likely take at least 2 years to make. The reality is that nobody is going to pay a penny as Ukraine is rapidly descending into a failed state. In 2-3 years' time, Zelensky is not going to be there, and the new government will just wash their hands off it all by saying something along the lines of, "It's not my war. This war should have never started. If I was the president, it would have never started" or some such thing, and those families will have to continue their fight to survive and to keep living on their own. Unsurprisingly, none of Zelensky's warmongering "buddies" (Starmer, Macron, Merz, von der Leyen or those deep pockets from Blackrock, who have been so keen on keeping this war going) are offering to make those payments to the families of the fallen. Yes, it is billions but not the kind of billions they have already sent to have those people killed and still intend to send to have more people killed! If this doesn't expose the true faces of the Western "leaders" (in reality just administrators of the transnational corporate and banking cabal, which is profiting from this tragedy), then I don't know what will!

Im also amazed that of all people, Ian Proud believes that 100k is the right number of Ukraine KIA.

Zelensky has said 43,000 KIA which is probably too low. There are over 50,000 officially recorded as missing. Do the maths.

How a country with millions of soldiers is short of men at the fronts and has been taking people from the streets for more than a year?

take the estimated millions that have left the country, the 1 or 2 millions hiding, the few millions needed for essential work, the 1 million young. there should be around 2 to 4 million people available to fight.

please do the math

"let us speculate that 100,000 Ukrainian troops have died so far"

It's close to a million now, not including amputees.

I think nobody should speculate that 100k is the number of KIA and nobody should trust Elensky and "official" recordings. Too many idiots already believe to these kinds of statistics.

Maybe so.

But that's different point to your original comment.

Oh WOW! even though I knew what "type" of article I would find in a NeoCon warmonger publication like "irresponsible statecraft" I was shocked at the cover you willingly ran for the corrupt insane regime of Elensky, protected by both French and English Secret Service physically and protected in the media as well. You cannot possibly believe half of what you wrote about Ukraine's horrific casualties.

Zelenskiy yesterday offered to actually “buy” (pay for) Patriot missile defence systems from the USA. Each system can cost up to six million US dollars. So, he would rather spend more money on the military to prolong the war than to pay retribution for dead bodies coming home, of which there are about a MILLION. That figure is based on the daily body count issued by the Russian military. The quantity of DAILY dead and permanently incapacitated Ukrainian army personnel averages from 1,500 to 2000 DAILY. You need not believe me; a good documented source is Simplicius, also on Substack. The last person to believe is Zelenskiy. Is it really REALISTIC to believe that peace is possible with Zelenskiy in power? Much more realistic is complete capitulation and surrender.

The BBC article related to the swap of bodies states:

"The prisoner exchange deal was the only tangible result of peace talks in Turkey last week, with both sides agreeing to hand over as many as 6,000 dead bodies EACH, as well as sick and heavily wounded prisoners of war, and those aged under 25."

another misleading wording. AFAIK the 6000 dead bodies were to be return with no or minimum exchange

I can add the more than 40.000 thousand frozen bodies including those recuperated from the

captured then Ukrainian morgues emptied in life for their organs.

Dear Mr Proud this is horrible worse still competing with Mr. Bibi in their satanist soul.
